Sunday night, time to get caught up!

Gosh, I have been so busy I haven't had time to update! So...here it is!

I really like designing and making cards, so I've been joining a lot of swaps on our Stampin'Up! forum.

I did this card for a 10 + 1 swap:

It was so much fun to make, but very labor intensive! I had to cut most of the apron out by hand. And then since I loved the rick rack - reminded me of my grandma's aprons! - I sewed all that on too!

I love this card though cuz you can use it for so many events!

Especially thank you when somebody gives me something very yummy!

This card I did for a 25 + 1 swap. Wow, that's a lot of cards to make!

I made my own designer paper for the backgound piece (the very vanilla with the really rust flower stamped on it) and that was tons of fun! I have never done that before. I think it turned out pretty cool, huh?

My niece, who is a twin, is having twins, so we went to a baby shower for her. I saw this card on Stampers' Showcase and knew that I had to make it for somebody. Well, she was the lucky one! I altered the card from the one I originally saw by changing a few of the colors, adding the wire for the hangers, and then of course making two onesies because of twins, one boy and one girl!
For part of her gift, I made these thank you cards for her. I did five in the pink and five in the blue.

I love this flower with the Build A Brad in the middle! For the flowers on the bottom, I dry embossed and then lightly sanded the raised portion. I think it turned out pretty cool looking! The picture doesn't do it justice. Of course I had
to use a pink paper out of the Berry Bliss DSP so that I could get the white to show through. If I had used a regular piece of Pretty In Pink cardstock, it wouldn't have had the same effect since the cardstock is colored all the way through.

This card was a little tricky to get a good picture of since it's a pull-out card.

It was super easy to make.

I used a B out of SU's chipboard and covered it with DSP.

For the heart in the center of the star, I used a chipboard star from SU and covered it with Real Red and then embossed it with Glassy Glaze a couple of times to get it all shiney and thick.

Hope you enjoyed my cards tonight.
Thanks for looking!

Tiff's Stamp Room

Me and my Mom have most of the same stuff...

I did get these white book shelf’s at Big K and I love them to hold all my 'play' stuff!

I got the paper holders from Ikea.

II think the black shelf came with my husband, I am glad I could put it to good use! It holds all my Designer Series paper perfect!
It also keeps my On Board Chip Board very nice and neat and a great place for my sewing machine.

This has got to be my favorite spot of the house! All our stamps! My mom made me alphabetize them... I would rather have them in theme or categories but she won that argument ; )

Good Morning!

I wanted to share pictures of my stamp room and some of the things I use for organization that I absolutely love!

This shoe organizer is what I use to put all my stamps in. It's the perfect size and is very strong . I love it! It's so easy to see all my stamps. I put them in alphabetical order so I can keep track of them all!

I got these racks from IKEA. I can't remember what they were called, but they were in the kitchen department. They were very easy to install and are the perfect size for the punches. Even the baby punches stay on. Obviously I need another rod! And then, of course, more punches! I love punches!

I got these boxes from IKEA. I had to assemble them myself, and I put a coating of paint on them. They are the perfect size to put all my stuff in! I put my ribbon in the middle box. I have my "designer" ribbon in the top drawer, and my spools of ribbon in the two tall drawers.

This is how I store my cardstock and DSP. I haven't really found anything that I love to store my DSP in, but this is a good start. It keeps it organized and keeps it from getting bent. It's an easy way for me to see my cardstock. This seems like a really good way to store it to me. I have all the colors right where I can see them to help my designing process.

Last but not least, this is the cutest thing I found at IKEA. It was actually in their curtain hanging section. It's a metal type of cord and then there's a little clip to attach your pictures, cards, whatever to! It's so cute and was very easy to install. Well, at least it was easy for my husband to install! LOL!

I'm off to get ready for my open house On Firday! I'm looking forward to seeing everybody and to see who wins my HUGE basket of SU! products!

WooHoo! I got featured on Stampin'Up!'s Stampers' Showcase!

I am sooooo excited! I woke up this morning and checked Stampin'Up!'s Stampers' Showcase, and there was my card! I can't believe it! Out of the hundreds of demonstrators that submit cards each day, my card got picked! How exciting for me!This is the picture that's on SU's website!
I have been so busy lately! I have been making projects to submit to Artful Inkables for an opening they have for their design team! Wish me luck!
Also my little granddaughter Rachel (Tiff's daughter) has been very sick and has been in the hospital. Poor little girl! She seems to be doing better tonight, so that is great news!

The cute little Zoofari card that I made has been bugging me, so I revamped it! I like it alot better with the other animals on it. It just seemed to be missing something, you know???

I made this cute KuKu Flower! It was so much fun! I just made it out of scraps of ribbon that I had. I am sending it to my DDSS Lil Sis. I attached it to this awesome M&M holder! Hope she likes it!
It seems like Father's Day was a really long time ago, but I know it wasn't! Time goes by so fast these days.

I made this card for my cute little hubby!
I made this one for my son-in-law. Can you tell I
was getting in a hurry?
I made this card for my dad and my father-in-law. Kinda cheatin', but, hey, I was running out of time!
I pulled out these retired sets so that I could make some really fun cards and be able to do some water coloring!
I think these first two cards are my favorite!
I love this lady on Stampin' Fun!
I did quite a bit of layering and used my sewing machine, which I love to do! I really like the look it gives the card.

I embossed this image with irredescent ice to make her shine! It reminded me of being all wet!
I wasn't too sure about the colors on this card when I first started. But when it was finished, I thought it turned out pretty nice! I actually like the greens and the red together!

I used my Cuttlebug quite a bit today too. I love the texture that it gives to my cards.

On this card I dry embossed the flower and then lightly sanded it. I used my crimper and crimped the bottom half of the DSP.
I hope you enjoyed my cards!
Thanks for looking!
Have fun!
